Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at RetroTops. We take pride in offering a wide selection of vintage football shirts and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Below you’ll find details about our return and refund policy, in accordance with Romanian and EU consumer protection regulations.

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU 14-Day Return Policy)

If you change your mind, you have the legal right to return your order within 14 calendar days from the date you receive it, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, please notify us in writing at retrotops@yahoo.com or use the contact form on our website, mentioning your order number and the items you wish to return.

You then have 14 days from the date you notify us to send the item(s) back.

2. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn, unwashed, and unmodified.

  • All tags and labels, if applicable, must still be attached.

  • The item must be returned in the original packaging, or suitable protective packaging.

Please note:

  • Since our products are vintage and second-hand, signs of normal wear and age are expected and described in each product listing. These are not considered defects and do not qualify for a free return unless the item is significantly not as described.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.

  • Custom-printed or personalized items (e.g., name/number printing, patches), unless they arrived with a fault or incorrect customization.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you by email. If the return is approved, we will process your refund within 14 days using the original payment method.

Shipping costs for the original order are refundable only if the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item). In all other cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

5. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges due to the unique nature of vintage items (most are one-of-a-kind). If you would like a different item, please return your original order and place a new one.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the issue, and we will arrange a refund or replacement, if possible.
